I asked my CAD designer to reformat my files in both .DWG & .STL files. They're currently in .STEP files. He wants to send them directly to my manufacturer. I kindly declined & told him to send them directly to me. Is it normal for my CAD person to send my files to a manufacturer? Why does he need to know who my manufacturer is? 🤔
