I had 75 sellers removed from Amazon overnight because they were infringing on my issued US patent. I used Amazon's APEX program, showed them my patent, and by the next morning every one of those overseas copy sellers was gone. That is what having the right intellectual property protection in place actually does for you when it counts. What most inventors do not realize until it is too late is that a US patent only protects you inside the United States. The moment someone in another country manufactures your product, sells it in their market, or ships it somewhere else in the world, your US patent generally cannot stop them.
