Even though I wasn’t on mic last night, I was listening to the whole conversation about how we can continue growing the inventor community and helping people connect better. I had a random idea pop into my head that might actually be fun and useful for the community. What if there was an AI-assisted inventor questionnaire/test where people answer questions about: - how they invent, - how they build, - whether they’re visionary or detail-focused, - solo or team-oriented, - execution vs concept, - long-term thinker vs rapid prototyper, etc. Then at the end, the AI assigns you an inventor “animal archetype” emoji badge you can put on your profile. For example: 🦒 Giraffe = visionary / long-range thinker / big-picture inventor 🐜 Ant = structured builder / disciplined / execution-focused 🐬 Dolphin = communicator / connector / collaborator 🦊 Fox = unconventional / adaptive / creative thinker 🦉 Owl = analytical / research-heavy / detail-focused 🐙 Octopus = systems thinker / multi-domain inventor 🦅 Eagle = strategy / pattern recognition / market-focused 🦫 Beaver = hands-on builder / practical problem solver Then when people interact in the community, they instantly get a feel for: - how somebody thinks, - what type of inventor they are, - and who they may work well with. It could even help build balanced teams instead of having five visionaries with nobody wanting to build 😂 And because it uses emojis/animals, it keeps it fun and not overly serious or competitive. Just a random idea I had while listening last night. I have a few others too, but this one sounded fun enough to share.
