My name is William Gotter. I am from Brighton, Il. USA. I contacted Brian via Gmail. He replied the same day offering his help. I am mentally disabled due to having a brain aneurysm rupture. So I missed the connection. My product was a proximity RFID tool box locking system. It was the only one known at the time. I had a provisional patent filed but was denied a patent because of prior art. I still was continuing to pursue licensing. I offered it to many companies including the Snap-On and Genie garage door corps. They were not interested. That was in 2012. I lost heart. It was because of my disability. Now today I have found Genie corp has cut a deal with an inventor in the UK. His product works the same as mine does. The electronics are the same, their video is almost like mine. But the electromechanical part is different. The USPTO was informed of my product but granted him a patent anyway. I don't have the resources to fight it just because I am on disability. Long story short/ The invention was basically stolen. I am searching for ways to raise money to fight it. It's probably not going to work. I still have an unwavering desire to keep inventing and am going to stay linked with like-minded people inventing. I am searching for my next idea and am open to working to help others. I have an equipped machine shop and am a 53 yr old machinist, welder, millwright, and prototype developer that reaches into electro-mechanical and electronics engineering focusing on mechanical design, but I delv into it all. If anyone has any suggestions for me or needs help I am here. My business name is GOTTERBUILT. The product I created was trademarked 'BOX LOX'. But I have since lost that due to financial limitations. If anyone is interested in viewing it it can be seen on my YouTube channel Which is 'gotterbuiltboxlox1'. If anyone wants to contact me directly my email is 'gotterbuilt@gmail.com. I'm glad to be a part of this community and which I would have joined years ago. No matter what your situation is, never give up! The link to my first and foremost video is: https://youtu.be/KRWvA39oS1A?feature=shared Any input is greatly appreciated.
