Sunday Inventor Spotlight: Tammy Burkett (@Tammybur54) This week’s Sunday Inventor Spotlight shines on someone whose passion for people is just as strong as her passion for ideas: Tammy Burkett, known in the Inventor Smart Community as @Tammybur54. Tammy is a dedicated caregiver, housekeeper, and community advocate from Dalton, Georgia who has spent the last 26 years working closely with elderly clients. Through her hands-on experience, she’s become deeply aware of the everyday struggles many seniors face, especially when it comes to safety and accessibility in their homes. Her journey into invention began from the heart. She doesn’t just see problems, she sees possibilities. Tammy has multiple ideas for products that could make life safer and easier for the elderly and their caregivers. While she’s still early in her inventor journey, she’s already a strong voice for meaningful change. Tammy’s motto says it all: "Safety should always come in numbers and first priority over anything on a product being made and sold." From reporting potholes in her community to sitting with clients with dementia, Tammy leads with compassion and purpose. She reminds us that inventing isn’t always about flashy tech, it’s about solving real problems for real people. 📌 Follow Tammy and support her journey here: https://app.inventorsmart.com/profile/1705 Tammy, thank you for being a part of this community.
