FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Success without guilt/fear & Failures without depression means a lot for some people. Some persons gave up with or without any definite and valid reasons..... There is a wise saying: Dig the soil until the water comes out. It will sprout out, if water reserve will be underneath that area of the soil, but if there is not surely, then change the area/place for digging so that to be blessed with WATER KHAZANA/WATER TREASURE 💦.... If there is water (your target or goal) under some soil/land and someone tried to dig that water but leaves his efforts in between then how can his/her mission will be accomplished?... It is also very important to see what were those reasons when someone gave up....? Were they pitfalls (emotional, financial, management issues etc or just there were other interests towards which someone shifted his focus..( like Tesla did in past..) or there were some unfavourable circumstances behind or there were pressures in life or just the person was tired and fed up and he just quited.... ( May be it's the game of priorities or some psychological dilemma....lol...) Anyways, if someone has no regret then it's not a failure perhaps....... But generally yes! It happened to many people in past as they were really closed to their success....but due to some factors/+fortune they missed the train 🚆......( or Pending cases in some examples for getting 2nd chance/s....lol) A Story: Some people followed illusions just like a donkey followed that carrot 🥕 which was placed in front of that donkey with the help of a stick....in this way that donkey always follows that carrot to eat, the more he advances and runs, the more that carrot moves forward too, but donkey thinks he is just about very near to catch that carrot...lol...in this way the master of the donkey 🐴 achieves his own purpose.....lol.. (Inventor's myopia/entrepreneur's myopia)..? Many people know about the story of a great opportunity/luck that was knocking at the door of someone else instead of mr. Bill gates, even bill gates asked that person ( developer of some operating software) to be in contact with the representatives of IBM Company but unfortunately that didn't work....many people know about the story... NOTE: it may be informative to know about, WHAT IS SUCCESS? is it person to person different or can we define it generally, with the inventors' point of view? WOULD YOU LIKE TO DEFINE IT AS AN INVENTOR, WHAT IS SUCCESS? When we talk about success then it means (generally) that we are looking at it with some specific reference ( either with the reference of some specific person or some project or some purpose, goal or achievement...)... NOTE: Mahmood knows about a person who was just very close to be a king like but he just refused due to some specific reason and he had no regret for missing that great opportunity.... Was he a fool? No body knows it.... Another example related: Edward VIII (born June 23, 1894, Richmond, Surrey, England—died May 28, 1972, Paris, France) was the prince of Wales (1911–36) and king of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of the British dominions and emperor of India from January 20 to December 10, 1936, when he abdicated in order to marry Wallis Warfield Simpson of the United States. He was the only British sovereign to voluntarily resign the crown.... (Note: this above article was made/motivated by after reading the post of 'My two ladies' on the success and failure ).
